Interactive Journaling is based upon several well-researched and evidence-based models for behavioral change. These journals are produced by The Change Companies, a national publishing, consulting and training company that develops research-based materials to assist individuals in making positive life change. Interactive Journals are being used by school, mental health, substance use, and youth rehabilitation programs across the United States. The Change Companies just launched a new series called "Courage", which was created in partnership with the California Youth Authority. The Journals being used for this project were carefully constructed for use with adolescents, dealing with behavioral problems and with substance use.
